Description
Spun white jute yarn supplied in hank form for hand-loom and power-loom weaving, carpet backing and twine making. Long-staple Bangladeshi fibre with an even twist and a consistent count for smooth running on the loom.
Additional Information
Fibre: 100% natural white jute (Corchorus capsularis / olitorius).
Count range: 6 lb to 32 lb; single, 2-ply and 3-ply.
Quality grades: CB, CR, CRM, CRT, CRX.
Twist: 4-7 turns per inch, S or Z direction as required.
Moisture: 20% maximum. Batching oil: 1-3%, food-grade jute batching oil (JBO-P) available on request.
Packing: hanks pressed into hessian- or HDPE-wrapped bales of 100-250 kg.
Container capacity: approx. 18-20 MT per 20ft FCL.
Applications: jute rugs and carpet backing, geotextiles and soil-erosion mesh, garden and agricultural twine, craft and gift yarn.
